If you go downtown in the dead of night
Hot to trot with your dancing shoes tight
Hittin’ the club really outta sight!

You hit the bar, you grab a drink
You throw it back, you go and slink
You mingle, hustle smile and wink

You slither and you dance and sweat
There’s a hottie there, she’s a probable bet
But she’s stops in horror, she’s gotta jet!
(Now you scan the room some more)

The dancefloor clears in the middle part
In every sense the dancers dart
You seem perplexed “did someone fart?”
There’s spiders on the dancefloor

Arachnids on the colored squares
You wanna dance, but no one days
The spiders do, and they don’t care

The air is thick with sweat and smoke
The people shout “this is no joke”
The spiders bump lost bits of coke
(With tiny spoons they fiend some more)

They strut their stuff, they know the deal
With greedy arms, they cop eight feels
And all in tiny platform heels
(They bought their kicks in pairs of four)

Their mingling has come to a head
In twos and threes head off to bed
Or to the nearest spider web

Below black widows in the mood
To find a mate, then make him food
She spies some poor unwitting dude
(Shuffling on the dance floor)

This greaser here, he’s quite the wolf
And in his pants, he feels a growth
He spies two chicks, I’ll take them both
(Right there on the dance floor)



This place was hopping heretofore
But foks don’t go there anymore
And no one cares to work the door
